1. Register for HackNC

• Please ensure you register in our HackNC portal before hacking (this is SEPARATE from the initial hackathon sign-up you completed). This will be used for check-in.
• If you need a team, check out one of the many opportunities detailed here to find one: Registration & Team Matching.
• Bring a form of ID or your OneCard for check-in

2. Join our Discord

• REQUIRED: Change your nickname (right-click on your profile in the right sidebar) >> “Change Nickname” to FName LName (Pronouns optional, but highly recommended)
  • ex. Jane Doe (she/her)
• This is where we will be sharing the most up-to-date information. You can also ask questions and get help from mentors here.

3. Register and Login to Portal

• Make sure you can login to your portal!
• This is how you will be able to redeem meals, view your points, and get more information about the hackathon.

4. Read the important guidelines

• [ ] Check out the HackNC Tracks with your team and decide on what track(s) you want to compete in.
• [ ] Read IMPORTANT: Submission Instructions so you’re prepared for judging.
• [ ] Read over the Rules and Code(s) of Conduct and abide by them.

5. Plan your Schedule with tons of workshops and events

6. Familiarize yourself with our Resources

7. Submit your project on Devpost by 10:00 AM EST on Sunday, October 11th

8. Set up your project for Demo Fair and demo to the judges
